Check your setup

DigitalXP uses a range of websites and apps to provide a rich learning experience.

To get the most from DigitalXP, we encourage all participants to test their IT to minimise tech-hiccups during the interactive sessions.

Determine where you will be located when you participate in DigitalXP. Will you log in from home or your school site? We recommend a quiet space and that you use headphones and two screens if possible.

It is critical that all participants can access:

Your school’s firewall may block critical websites. If you will be participating in DigitalXP from your school, discuss the DigitalXP Technology Checklist with your school’s IT department, and ensure that you can access the listed domains. If you are unable to access one or more of the above links or are aware that you have restricted access to any of these sites, please take steps to get full access prior to DigitalXP.

Each Community of Practice is enhanced with additional, unique sites and tools.

Access and complete the DigitalXP Technology Checklist prior to the start of DigitalXP to prepare yourself and your tech for your particular Community of Practice.

Complete the Pre-Work Using Canvas course

Use the Pre-Work Using Canvas course to familiarise yourself with Canvas and get ready for DigitalXP.

Once you have activated your AVID Australia Canvas account, use the Dashboard to access the DigitalXP – Pre-Work – Using Canvas course.

This short course will introduce you to Canvas and help you set up your equipment for the best DigitalXP experience.

We recommend that all users complete this course before accessing any other DigitalXP material.
