The AVID Australia National Conference will take place over two days: Thursday December 3 and Friday December 4, 2020. We look forward to sharing our vision for the future of learning and teaching with an immersive and virtual networking experience.
Workshops, Health and Wellbeing sessions and Keynote speakers will celebrate excellent classroom practice, seek to inspire, celebrate teachers and the teaching profession, and showcase student voice.
At the heart of National Conference will be a suite of teacher-led workshops, developed and delivered by experienced AVID practitioners from across Australia and the United States. These workshops will present participants with opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of high impact learning and teaching strategies; explore school AVID implementation journeys and the impact of change in schools; and strengthen collaboration within the AVID community and with the broader education community so that we can improve outcomes for all students.
