WICOR Schoolwide earns NESA Accreditation

By April 12, 2022No Comments

AVID Australia is proud to announce that the WICOR Schoolwide (K-12) Professional Learning Module has been recognised as a NESA Accredited Professional Development course.

For teachers in New South Wales, this means that completing WICOR Schoolwide (K–12) will contribute 2 hours and 30 minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/EYLF addressing standard descriptor 3.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

Following from the full NESA Accreditation of DigitalXP, an online professional learning event first held in 2021, the certification of WICOR Schoolwide is an important next step for AVID Australia in the delivery of high quality, evidence-based professional learning to teachers in New South Wales and across Australia.

WICOR Schoolwide (K-12) is one of over 50 professional learning modules offered to AVID schools. The modules are constantly revised and updated according to new research and can be customised to each school’s specific context and goals. All modules can be delivered in person or online.

Visit the AVID Professional Learning Modules page for more information about WICOR Schoolwide (K-12) and the full range of AVID Professional Learning Modules available to AVID Australia schools.
