Three AVID Australia schools received nominations and recognition across 10 categories in the 2022 Australian Education Awards.
Congratulations to Marsden State High School, Wodonga Middle Years College and Loganlea State High School, who were awarded for their efforts over the past year with nominations across a variety of categories.
Marsden State High School built upon their 2021 success with excellence awards in the categories of:
- Secondary School of the Year – Government
- Special Education School of the Year
- Best School Strategic Plan
- Best Professional Learning Program
- School Principal of the Year – Government
- Best STEM Program
- Best Use of Technology
- Innovation in Learning Environment Design
Sam Davies at Wodonga Middle Years College was recognised as an Education Rising Star of the Year.
Luda (Liudmyla) Kovalev and Portia Lee at Loganlea State High School received nominations in the categories of Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Education Rising Star of the Year, respectively.
AVID Australia celebrates the fantastic achievements of the staff, students and community at both these schools.
